Celly lets you instantly create group polls. You can setup a poll on any cell and have the members of that cell take the poll. Polls can be created on the go using your cellphone and sms text messaging or from the Celly website.

Step 1: text poll to 23559 to setup a poll on one of your cells.

If you don't have a Celly account, you will need to create one first (go here or sign up over sms by texting  start to 23559). You also need to create a cell or join one that allows polling (all cells have polling enabled by default).

Step 2: text the question for your poll.

For instance, Hadley has setup a cell for an upcoming BBQ & potluck party she is hosting. She has decided to poll her friends, to vote on what they will bbq

Step 3: enter the possible choices for your poll.

If you want a poll choice to be "chicken," then you text #chickenMake sure to put a # before the choice and a space in between choices. For example, if you text #burgers #fish #corn #kebabs #chicken, this would make the poll choices burgers, fish, corn, kebabs, or chicken.

Step 4: after you text your choices, everyone will receive the poll and can vote on it.

Hadley wants to vote for kebabs, so she texts 4for kebabs (choice #4). Once everyone has voted, or 30 minutes has passed, the final results are sent out:

Note: you can also create polls from the Celly website. Other users can vote on a poll from the website or over sms text messaging.
